大阪証券取引所とは、大阪府大阪市中央区北浜にある『株式会社大阪証券取引所』のことで、東京証券取引所、名古屋証券取引所と共に、日本の「三市場」の一つです。略称を『大証（だいしょう）』、俗称を『北浜』と言います。

大阪証券取引所金ＥＴＦの金ＥＴＦとは、金の価格に連動するETF（株価指数連動型上場投資信託）で、正式名所を『金価格連動型上場投資信託』と言います。

つまり、大阪証券取引所金ＥＴＦとは、株式会社大阪証券取引所で扱われる金価格連動型上場投資信託のことで、株式会社大阪証券取引所は、日本で始めて株式以外の、商品を対象にした金ETFを、2007年8月10日に上場しました。

大阪証券取引所金ＥＴＦは、金地金（現物）のみで運用する投資信託を有価証券化して大証に上場したもので、各投資家の購入額に応じて、金ETFの設定会社が現物の金を保管し、万一取扱会社が破綻したとしても保護される仕組みになっています。

金は株式や債券との関連性が比較的低いといわれているので、大阪証券取引所金ＥＴＦはリスクの分散にはよい投資信託です。

大阪証券取引所金ＥＴＦは投資信託なので、運用はプロに任せることになりますが、少額からはじめることができ手数料も安いので、初心者に向いているかも知れません。
